Remember, gravity is just a theory

What’s your secret weapon when you happen to lose all that precious motivation, that amazing energy keeping your ideas and projects going? Sarah Kathleen Peck gives guidance for these hard moments to what we can not give in, I mean, who else is going to do it instead of us?

What do I do? Sometimes the right track of music is enough. A bit of rock for gathering strength or just the right amount of happy break-beat for convincing myself all is going to be good. Or, and it might sound counter-intuitive, but I take a break. I go out to the balcony and sit a few minutes on the sun - or for that matter listening to the rain - take a walk or a round along the Martesana river with my bike, get lost in the green. This takes me pretty soon to savour how lucky I am, living my life as it is, having the opportunity to organize work along my rhythm, to breed and nourish ideas, to create something that wasn’t there before, to talk with you and receive all this amazing feedback. For me gratefulness is the key to hidden energy sources and to keep on going.

OK, enough of theories, back to work!

“The perfect journey is circular. The joy of departing. The joy of return.”
This wall paint is a result of the mission of EscoAdIsola, to make the train station of Porta Garibaldi in Milan a colourful and enjoyable place, full of life and music.
 We love movements like this.

Drungli goes to…

We are very excited to report that we are going to participate in Stack Overflow’s Second Annual WorldWide Meetup Day at the Milan location!

I will talk about usability in the big picture, how it was a challenge to design a new kind of search engine user experience and how it is defining Drungli’s development. We’d love to have a chat there in case you are around.

Clean demonstration of how our expectations are changing towards travel because of the technological evolution, and which problems different technologies are solving.
Seems we are missing from the list, but just wait till the next issue!
